A Lifeline for Neighbors in Need

Foothill Unity Center  is committed to providing the San Gabriel Valley with a multi service approach to the problem of poverty. We serve our clients in three key ways: food, case management/crisis help, and access to health care resources.  At Foothill Unity Center, all services are free  to those who are eligible. To be eligible, clients must only live within our 11-city service area and have an income at or below 150% of the national poverty level. If you are in need of help, please contact the center or call us at 626-358-3486 to find out how to participate.

Food Programs- In 2012,  Foothill Unity Center provided more than 3.6 million pounds of food to 12,032 unduplicated low-income and homeless individuals.  More

Support and Crisis Services-  Foothill Unity Center case managers help clients in crisis by providing them with or referring them to housing, transportation, employment and social service solutions. Working with our clients, we help to develop  individual and family action plans that give  those in need the support, advocacy, resources and referrals that can help them move toward self-sufficiency.  More

Health Services Program- Offers uninsured and underinsured clients access to vital medical, dental, vision and mental health care in partnership with community professionals. Key programs include Child Health Care, Medical Outreach Clinic, Screening and Education, and Insurance Enrollment Services. More

Special Programs The Center conducts three annual special distribution programs: a Back-to-School Distribution that prepares 1,500 to 2,000  low-income children for school with clothes, shoes, educational supplies, backpacks, haircuts and dental and vision exams; a Thanksgiving  Distribution that gives families all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner; and a Holiday Distribution that provides holiday food boxes, new toys and clothing for children, Christmas trees and much more.
