HEALTH PROGRAM

Access to healthcare, education on ways to manage chronic health diseases, and assistance with navigating the healthcare system.

Among the services we provide are dental and vision screenings, dental procedures, eye exams, glasses, and eye glass vouchers from mobile and on site dental and vision clinics, flu vaccines, glucose/diabetes screenings, blood pressure screenings, nutrition, physical and mental health, and education that includes workshops, classes, exercise groups, and healthy cooking/recipe demonstrations and flyers. We leverage our workforce annually with work trainees, nursing students pursuing licenses, and interns in social work and public health.

HEALTH SERVICES

Offers uninsured and underinsured clients access to vital health care in partnership with community professionals. Including dental and vision screenings, dental procedures, eye exams, glasses, and eye glass vouchers, mobile and on site dental and vision clinics, flu vaccines, glucose & diabetes screenings, blood pressure screenings, nutrition, physical and mental health.

We host and Annual Mobile Dental Clinic that provides over 100 children comprehensive dental treatment and preventative measures and education to the children and parents. (check calendar)

Our Annual Health and Resource Fair provides hundreds of individuals with: Full Medical Screenings, Health Services Referrals, Health Education, Healthy Food Cooking Demo’s, Hair Cuts, Giveaways & More. (check our calendar)

Health & Wellness Education that includes workshops, classes, print materials, exercise groups,  and healthy cooking/recipe demonstrations and flyers.

We help families with uninsured children learn more about Medi-Cal, Healthy Families and other low-cost insurance programs for which they qualify.
