At SCE, we take a layered, year-round approach to reduce wildfire risk — and we’re asking customers to take a few practical steps, too: make an evacuation plan, refresh your go-bag and sign up for local alerts. Stamp Out Hunger 2026 🙌 ft. a very special letter we received in one of our donation bags 💙
One Saturday, $437,636 of non-perishable goods. Thank you to all of our volunteers, staff, postal workers and community residents for sharing your time and commitment to make the Stamp Out Hunger event a success! As the largest food drive of the year for us, we are grateful for everyone who showed up in various ways to support. The food received will help replenish our warehouse to continue providing for our neighbors through the summer and into the fall season 🥫
A few days before our Stamp Out Hunger event, we welcomed volunteers from @swcaenvironmental, @socalgas and @aaaautoclubenterprises who, alongside our individual volunteers, helped prepare grocery packages, organize our warehouse, and get everything ready for the big day. While we anticipated two full days of preparation for our event, our volunteers tackled every project with such speed and precision that we were done ahead of schedule. Thank you all for your hard work! 🙌
Happy National Nurses Week to all of our former and current nursing students! From providing blood pressure screenings, lending a hand during food distribution, and preparing meals for our unhoused community, they are an integral part of our programs that serve all of San Gabriel Valley. We are so lucky to have you all 💙🩺
One of our ongoing goals is to build on the strong foundation of partnerships we are grateful to be part of, while working together to develop strategies that further support and strengthen our communities. This spring, we are thankful to start a monthly collaboration with @friendsindeedpas through their Street Outreach and Housing team, who have been joining us during our Pasadena distribution to provide more comprehensive resources for our unhoused neighbors. This partnership is incredibly meaningful, as neighbors who have visited both resource centers found comfort in seeing familiar faces and felt encouraged to take the next steps. While this is only the beginning, we look forward to watching this collaboration continue to grow and blossom 🌷
