These volunteers ARE community champions 👏 Thank you to the Alexandria Real Estate (ARE) team from Pasadena for not only volunteering, but also organizing a donation drive for pet food, adult incontinence supplies, and blood pressure cuffs! These are some of our most-needed items, and we are grateful for their generosity and support. Their help during a sorting and packing shift also keeps our operations moving efficiently, allowing us to distribute more food to families in need through our upcoming distributions. As you may know each summer, we host our Back-to-School event to prepare families and children for the upcoming school year. This year we expect approximately 1,500 to 2,000 children ranging from PreK to College students to attend the event on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Santa Anita Racetrack. We need your help to ensure that our students can show up on their first day with everything they need to succeed, including a sense of confidence.
