Mobile Showers & Essential Grooming Services

Foothill Unity has placed a major priority on the health and well-being on those less fortunate, many of whom are homeless. In March we launched our Mobile Showers Program at our Monrovia & Pasadena locations which will be an ongoing service for the community in need. The mobile showers are discreetly placed inside a panel truck. There is privacy assured and an assistant on hand if there are special needs. The program includes extended services including hair cuts, hot meals, portable bathroom and wash station and available mobile device charging stations. This program is made possible through partnerships with LAHSA (Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority), Love N Care Foundation, Simply Divine Barbering Academy, City of Duarte and Creative Works. The first event provided 20 showers and 50 hair cuts.
