HOUSING AND HOMELESS PROGRAM

Provides increasingly more permanent and temporary placement solutions and services, such as motel vouchers, rental assistance, eviction prevention, navigation, retention, temporary housing, rapid rehousing, safe parking and related services to those experiencing urgent emergency and chronic housing needs. The Center provides permanent housing placements, as well as motel vouchers and referrals for emergency shelter. Motel stays averaging a lengthier stay allow an individual or family time to regroup and gain some stability while simultaneously working on their housing plan with our case workers to ensure support and assistance to keep them on track on their plan. Our goal is to rapidly-rehouse before barriers to permanent housing increase and chronic homelessness sets in, to sustain the permanent housing.

Case management provides access to a complete continuum of services, inclining temporary or permanent housing, food services, health services, job development, and crisis management, a safety net that improves the odds of success for an individual to move from poverty to economic security.
