Brian Huang, a dedicated Life Scout in Troop 126, recently completed his Eagle Scout project titled “Closets of Confidence: Empowering Attire for Job Seekers in Need.” This initiative aims to support individuals in need by providing them with professional attire to aid them in their job search.

Collaborating with the Foothill Unity Center, Brian and his troop and parents constructed two closets stocked with business attire for men and women who need more financial means to obtain such clothing independently. The project, aptly named “Closets of Confidence,” seeks to empower job seekers by offering them presentable attire for interviews.

Brian’s decision to work with the Foothill Unity Center stemmed from his longstanding connection with the organization, which he has been involved with since childhood through various community events and initiatives. Recognizing the impact of these activities on the community, Brian felt compelled to give back by undertaking his Eagle Project with the center.

Through this project, Brian hopes to provide individuals seeking employment with the confidence and resources they need to succeed in their job interviews. Knowing that his project has the potential to impact the lives of others positively brings him a sense of fulfillment and pride in contributing to something greater than himself
