The recent Eaton Canyon Wildfire has become one of the deadliest and most destructive fires our community has ever faced. Fueled by powerful winds, it has left a trail of devastation in its wake. As most of you know, the fire has destroyed more than 9,418 homes and structures, displacing thousands of families who are now in urgent need of essential services and resources.
Foothill Unity Center is committed to serving those in need. Just as the organization stood strong during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the same dedication and compassion are now being extended to families impacted by the wildfires.
How Foothill Unity Center is Responding:
- Distributing food, water, clothing, shoes, cookware, diapers, toys for children, pet food, and more.
- Offering housing services for the displaced in addition to our ongoing rental assistance and eviction prevention programs.
- Providing resources and guidance to support families rebuild.
How You Can Help:
- Donating items to replenish our supply: Air purifiers, baby and adult diapers, pet food, and gift cards.
- Sharing a monetary donation to fill the gaps in critical services and supplies.
- Volunteering to sort and distribute supplies, ensuring they reach families in need.
