One of Foothill Unity Center’s 14’ white box truck was stolen this past Wednesday, August 14th. Fortunately, it was recovered thanks to the great work from the Monrovia and Pasadena Police departments.
We are so grateful to have our truck back as it is critical to the daily operations of our programs. It is one of two trucks that we rely on for more than the hundred weekly pick-ups of our in-kind food donations valued at over $2 million (annually). The food totals approximately 3 million pounds and helps to serve over 6,500 low-income and homeless individuals, including seniors and disabled persons who are isolated, sick and shut-in.
Sincere thanks to our community for any tips you may have provided and for your support!
